Amazon's in a tough spot. Either pay OpenAI a cut and lose ad revenue when customers switch to ChatGPT, or watch competitors like Walmart and Shopify take market share.

It makes sense waiting, but shopping on the new GenAI paradigm feels inevitable. I think Amazon will lose more leverage with OpenAI the longer they wait.

This is super interesting! You know, most brands are built on the trust and personal experiences people have with them. Not everyone leaves reviews or shares their trust in brands, so when AI suggests something, it’s usually based on what’s written in reviews and articles. But it doesn’t know what’s in your head. It might show you things you previously ignored, which could actually change how you shop!
